OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE PHILLY POPS REGARDING HAMMERSTEIN: THE SONG IS YOU

In these difficult times, the health and safety of our patrons, musicians, and community are of paramount importance to us. Following the recommendations of the Mayor and the City of Philadelphia regarding all events over 1,000 people, The Philly POPS has postponed the upcoming performance of HAMMERSTEIN: The Song is You. The performance will be rescheduled for this July—we are currently awaiting confirmation on dates held at the Kimmel Center.

We understand that some patrons may not be able to attend the rescheduled performance—they may exchange their tickets (with no fees to the patron) for the Sunday May 3, 7:30pm performance of SINATRA: A Man and His Music, or for any show next season*.

In this difficult time for arts organizations, we ask that patrons consider donating unused tickets. The POPS will distribute these tickets to deserving members of the community that would otherwise not be able to afford them, and it will help us pay our artists and meet other production costs. This donation would be tax deductible.

Please contact Ticket Philadelphia via email at patronservices@ticketphiladelphia.org or Monday through Friday from 10AM to 6PM at 215-893-1999 for the exchange.  If you have further questions, the POPS will have a Call Center set up at the office beginning at 10AM on Tuesday, March 17. Contact 215-875-8004 to speak to a POPS representative.

*Ticket exchanges for 2020–2021 season shows will be processed over the summer. Ticket price value will be matched, but seat location will be subject to availability.
