Auditions for the 2005 POPS Festival Chorus To Be Held

Would you like to sing with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops in Philadelphia.s favorite holiday concert, Holiday POPS?Jeff Kern, Chorus Director for Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, will hold auditions for all singers who want to join the 2005 POPS FestivalChorus.The 150-voice chorus will perform at seven holiday concerts from December 1 through December 7 in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center.
Rehearsals will be held every Tuesday evening from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, beginning October 18th, at the Chambers-Wiley Church at Broad and Pine Streets in Philadelphia.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, June 21 and Wednesday, June 22 in Room 506 of the Merriam Theater Building, located at 250 South Broad Street in Philadelphia.They will begin at 4:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm each day, and are by appointment only.
Singers should prepare a 16-24 measure excerpt of a song in any style and be prepared to sight-sing. All participants must be at least 16 years of age.
